MyCleverHub invites local entrepreneurs to turn their business idea into a reality

Categories:

Stoke-on-Trent’s first Entrepreneur Incubator and Accelerator has now launched on Festival Park. MyCleverHub offers local entrepreneurs a world class platform to start up, support and grow their business.

Entrepreneur Incubators and Accelerators are already common-place in cities such as London and Manchester. These are often supported by banks and other large organisations, who house these facilities inside existing infrastructure. Unsurprisingly Stoke-on-Trent has been overlooked by these types of organisations, so there is currently no such offering in our surrounding area, until now.

MyCleverGroup, founded by CEO Gareth Mobley, is investing significant capital and covering the initial costs of the MyCleverHub project.

Gareth Mobley, CEO, commented:

“We have over 20 years’ experience in managing and growing a business so we wanted to create an organisation to stimulate aspiration and entrepreneurialism in Stoke-on-Trent and the wider area.

“We believe that Stoke-on-Trent is an area that has demonstrated consistency over the decades in producing Entrepreneurs. Stoke has produced some truly global names over the years, with billionaire Entrepreneurs such as Denise Coates creating gambling giant bet365 and John Caudwell with his Phones 4u empire.

“Starting a business is tough and it’s often a daunting task just to get started. Entrepreneurs entering the start-up area are exposed to a completely new business vernacular; unless these people have a background in business, they may find themselves lost in conversation with people they don’t even know, and that’s where MyCleverHub comes in.”

MyCleverHub is creating a supportive network for local start-ups by partnering with organisations such as Beswicks Legal, Mitten Clarke and Mounsey Surveyors. MyCleverHub partners will offer their services, advice and support to up to 16 Entrepreneurs who have now started to join the Hub.

Nick Phillips, managing partner, Beswicks Legal added:

“It is an absolute pleasure to partner MyCleverHub in helping new businesses to grow and thrive.  Providing fledgling businesses with world-class facilities, support and advice is a hugely exciting prospect. With such a strong platform for entrepreneurs to grow and flourish, I am certain MyCleverHub will be the catalyst to producing some incredible business success stories.”
