MyCleverHub recently joined local companies in sponsoring the 2019 Sentinel Business Awards.

The Sentinel Business Awards was launched 14 years ago as a local showcase of world class business talent. It is the longest-running and most popular business awards in Staffordshire, supported by a raft of local businesses and organisations. Categories include start-up of the year, entrepreneur of the year, small business and business of the year awards. This year’s event and award ceremony took place at the Kings Hall on Thursday 28th September.

MyCleverHub was proud to sponsor the Young Business Person of the Year Award which recognises individuals under the age of 40 who are employed or self-employed and should be directly responsible for the success of their enterprise.

Suzi Archer, Entrepreneur Accelerator Manager, presented the Young Business Person of the Year to Nicholas Langley, founder of Stafford software development company Langley Foxall.

Nick’s efforts to triple the size of his business in just over three years earned him the prestigious title as he saw off competition from Natalie Hewitt, Hewitt & Carr Architects and Jason Harker, JHPS Gardens.

When Nick started working as an agricultural engineer fresh out of university, he had no idea he would go on to run his own business. At the age of just 28, he is at the helm of thriving software development business Langley Foxall – a company which has more than tripled in size since its formation in 2015.

This is my first ever award. I was not expecting it, but the team did this for me, 100 per cent. It’s an incredible achievement.

MyCleverHub congratulates Nick and Langley Foxall on this incredible achievement and looks forward to watching the company develop in the coming years.
